In February of 2020, the Nordic Foxes will go to the Houghton area to cross-country ski.  It is about an hour north of Ironwood or about 8 hours from the Chicago area.  There are several places to ski and it is the week after Winter Carnival.   Several items have changed for our Houghton Ski Trip, and COVID is still with us.  The Munson Hotel is not open so we will go down the street to The Quality Inn Hotel in Houghton, MI | Quality Inn® Official Site | Quality Inn & Suites (choicehotels.com). It is freshly remodeled, near many restaurants, and just a little longer walk to the ice cream/bookstore. The Swedetown ski area is fully open Current Conditions/Cams | Swedetown Trails., Mischigan Tech Trails and others, TRAIL REPORTS – Keweenaw Trails Houghton/Hancock has had lots of snow, so the other trails should be in good condition. Let Bruce know if you are attending, Kuehlcross@comcast.net or text 6309473132.   Air B&B and VRBO are also a possibility for those that do not want to eat in restaurants.
